FIRST LINE TREATMENT OF HYPERTENSION AND CAN BE USED AS THE SOLE AGENT TO CONTROL BLOOD PRESSURE IN THE MAJORITY OF PATIENTS. IT IS USED TO TREAT ANGINA, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND CORONARY HEART DISEASE. IT IS RECOMMENDED IN CASE OF HEART FAILURE IF OTHER MEDICATIONS FAIL TO WORK.
