XYZAL 5 MG TAB, 20
H1 histamine receptor antagonist; competes for H1-receptor sites in target cells in the respiratory tract, blood vessels, and gastrointestinal tract.
Non-sedative third generation
| instructions | dults and children 12 years of age and older: 5 mg (1 tablet) orally once daily in the evening. The dose may need to be adjusted in patients with poor kidney function. Children 6 to 11 years of age: 5 mg (1/2 tablet) orally once daily in the evening. Do not exceed 2.5 mg daily. Do not give this medication to children below 6 years of age. Take tablet or oral solution with or without food. Take a tablet with a full glass of water. Take at the same time every day. Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose. |
